Budapest must be one of the most convenient cities I have lived in. I found a great apartment in the center of the city and it feels like everything is in walking distance. People speak excellent english, there is fast 3G, hipster coffee shops with wifi everywhere and pretty good local and international food.
I’m here for the entire month of July on a work vacation to try get version 2 of Analytics Portfolio launched and so far it’s working pretty good. I usually go out for breakfast in the morning (try Fruccola for great value) and spend a few hours working from a café (like Espresso Embassy). In the afternoons I rest a bit, work some more and head out for dinner around eight. After dinner I walk around town or along the river and maybe have an ice cream at Cafe Gerbeaud.
